California is a state in perpetual motion, and it's Caltrans' job to keep 39 million residents moving forward. We oversee 55,000 miles of highways, 26,000 bridges, three train systems and 400 airports. All of which are known as the state's right of way.

They share how they’re maintaining a safe and reliable system, building a network that respects the environment, finding innovative partnerships and solutions to solve our biggest challenges and improving lives and communities through transportation.
